The Integrated Social Development Centre (ISODEC) in Partnership with the International Budget Partnership (IBP) will be launching the results of Ghana’s 2012 Open Budget Survey that is carried out periodically. The Open Budget Index is a comprehensive analysis and survey that evaluates the extent to which central governments give the public access to budget information and opportunities to participate in the budgetary process. ISODEC has over the years successfully launched the survey and sees it as key to improving transparency in view of the fact that it touches on the quantity and type of information that governments make available to the general public in the eight key budget documents. The workshop targets the general public, policy makers and media houses and is strictly by invitation. Contributions are however welcome on this site. Venue: Institute for Local Government Studies Date: 23 January 2013 Time- 9:00am
